Elliott Sharp is a Philadelphia-based reporter, grant writer, publicist, and copywriter for hire.

He worked as an editor, writer, and digital content manager for Red Bull Media House, and he helped launch Red Bull Music. His writing has been published by print and digital publications, including Philadelphia Inquirer, Village Voice, Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia City Paper, Metro, Vice’s Noisey, Magnet Magazine, Kindling Quarterly, MTV Hive, The Onion/A.V. Club, The Awl’s Billfold, Tiny Mix Tapes, Flagpole Magazine, WXPN’s The Key, Smack, Cowbell Magazine, Foxy Digitalis, Full-Stop, and Philadelphia Weekly.

He has worked as a grant writer, copywriter, and publicist for arts, music, education, and community development nonprofits. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy, and from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a master’s degree in political science. He also taught philosophy at the University of South Carolina.
